Kyla + Levi’s Summer Ceremony With Their Furry Witness, Luna

Crested Butte, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Colorado, has always held a special place in Kyla and Levi's hearts. The awe and seclusion of this location drew them in from the beginning, making it their go-to romantic getaway. It was in these picturesque mountains that they got engaged, so it was only natural that they returned for their intimate micro-wedding.

Eloping here was a choice born from the desire for authenticity, uniqueness, and intimacy. Kyla and Levi wanted their special day to be a true reflection of their love, surrounded by the grandeur of the snow-capped peaks that had witnessed their journey through the years.

It was a stress-free day, with an unhurried timeline that allowed them to savor every moment. Carefully chosen by the couple, their ceremony location was a grand lookout that offered the breathtaking views they desired while being accessible for their whole party.

Kyla was a vision of natural beauty and elegance in her free-flowing gown by Lillian West. The open back revealed her mountain tattoo, a fitting symbol of their love story and love for nature. She carried a Misty Mountain Floral bouquet made with natural wildflowers, the perfect burst of color amidst the wilderness.

Their ceremony was a heartfelt exchange of vows, with their dog Luna serving as their wedding witness. With the help of a clean-touch ink pad, she bravely signed their marriage certificate, leaving a paw-shaped mark that would forever remind them of her presence on their big day.

After saying their "I do's," Kyla, Levi, and their parents celebrated with cocktails before the newlyweds headed off to a private picnic in the hills for a moment of togetherness. The adventure continued with a visit to a nearby lake where Luna took a quick dip, and Levi dipped Kyla for some jaw-dropping portraits. Later, we searched for wildflowers in the nearby meadows. Vibrant violet Silvery Lupin and lush hills sprinkled with yellow created a picturesque scene for their final portraits.

This day couldn't have been more perfect! The sun was shining, it was peak wildflower season in Crested Butte, and we found the perfect patch of purple heaven for this beautiful couple.
